Kida is a lovely young bitch who was a part of the first litter I raised the Avidog way. This litter was bred by Double Helix Samoyeds and I was smitten with Kida from the very start. I was impressed with her gentle nature and her graceful athleticism and happy, playful demeanor, never overbearing or demanding, she kindly requests that you put your computer away with a lightly placed paw on your arm. A substantial bitch with lovely long legs, she covers the ground lightly like a speedy cream-and-biscuit gazelle. Kida is an absolute pleasure to live with and is very strongly bonded to her family.

Kida attended her first big dog show, the Samoyed Club of America National Specialty 2019 in Nebraska and did a crash course in learning to become a 'show dog'. She placed 3rd in the Open Bitch class under judge Laurie Stone and went on to support the Brood Bitch entry of her dam, BISS GCH Double Helix Live from the Piston Cup, as one of three 'get'. They were successful in earning 1st place for Puma (and more experience points for Kida). This large dog show was a big challenge for Kida, as it was in a completely new environment, new people and handlers, new dogs and much noise. She grew up quite a lot over the week and performed very well in the ring. Her last entry was in the Brace class with her housemate and sire of her last litter, Haku. They have mushed together, but had not practiced 'brace showing,' but nevertheless, they earned a second place ribbon from breeder judge Mardee Ward.  A very good exhibit by Kida debut and there were many kind comments from breeders who liked this little girl.

Kida has proven to be an exceptional and fertile brood bitch in her own right, conceiving 9 healthy puppies with only one natural unassisted tie and no complications with pregnancy, whelping or with rearing the puppies. She is an exceptional dam in every way- by being the very best mother to her puppies- you could not ask for better in a brood bitch and a better start for puppies.
